Weekend notes & link love #32

Image via Style me pretty living

I've been thinking a lot about my goals and plans for 2016, and I really love getting other people's perspective on goal setting. Rachel's post was really interesting, and I love that she uses Lara Casey's method - it's my favorite, too! (via Intentionally designed)

Loved reading through these 6 habits of women who look radiant well into their 80s. Could it all go down just to exercise, sleep, meditation and purpose? Definitely worth trying! (via The Chalkboard Mag)

I have to admit, I'm not much of a fan of open plan spaces - I love the rooms in my home separate. But every once in a while I stumble upon a home tour that does open plan just right - and this one is a great example. Of course, it comes as no surprise, since it's been designed by Kara Vacca, and incredibly talented interior designer. Oh, and have I mentioned that she actually lives there? #majorenvy (via Glitter Guide)

I'm kind of intrigued by this 10-minute guide to cleaning your kitchen. I'm a little bit skeptic, too, so I'm definitely going to give it a try! My kitchen is not huge, and I'd love to see whether I can accomplish all this in just 10 minutes! (via Style me pretty living)

Ever wondered what all those lofty words used in book reviews really mean? Wonder no more. I was chuckling all the way down this list, and its second part, too, especially since I'm also guilty of overusing this publisher lingo. I just hope that one day my own books won't be described as "books for the ages", or "absorbing". Hilarious. (via One minute book reviews)

And a few things you might have missed on The Charming Avenue:

First of all, the introduction of The Charming Avenue: all the reasons for a rebrand and a new name, packed into one post.

With the new name comes also the new focus and new content. Read all about it here

More healthy, colorful and delicious smoothie recipes.

And a list of books to read before they come out as movies.

Have a lovely weekend guys!

However, don't bother leaving any "Follow me!" comments that you copy & paste on dozens of blogs at a time and which show that you have absolutely no interest in my blog. I will follow your blog if I love it, not because you ordered me to do it.
