Inspired by: Bright, feminine and elegant home

Photography by Monica Wang for The Glitter Guide

Every once in a while, I stumble upon a home tour that makes my heart skip a beat. That's when I keep clicking through each and every photo, eagerly wanting to see more. When I imagine what it would be like to dive right into my computer screen and find myself sitting on that glamorous couch, looking through those sunlit French windows, cooking something delicious in that perfectly designed and organized kitchen. That's when the magic happens and when the inspiration strikes, and suddenly all I want to do is take my own apartment by the storm, move all my furniture around and go on a crazy accessory shopping spree. Getting inspired is one of my favorite things in the world, and I simply love daydreaming about all the decorating possibilities and options.

All this happened to me yesterday, when I discovered Christina Zilber's gorgeous home up on Glitter Guide. If there ever was one home that could fulfill all my design fantasies, it would be this one. Unapologetically feminine, but not overly sweet, classic yet also modern, with subtle touches of French chic that perfectly merge with the overall vibe of this house, and a whole lot of charm. The color palette is subdued, but incredibly balanced: black and white is the most timeless combo you can think of, and the subtle pops of pink and gold add just the right hint of color to the whole space. All in all, these are the elements I've been trying to bring to my own home, too, and these photos will definitely earn a prominent place in my home decor inspiration binder.

I would love to know: what is your favorite source of home decor inspiration? Coffee table books? Pinterest? Any home decor website I should definitely know about? Let me know!

You can find the rest of this beautiful home tour, as well as an inspiring interview with Christina about beauty and home decor on Glitter Guide.

Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a comment! I love discovering new interesting blogs, so don't hesitate to leave me your URL, and I'll be sure to check your blog out.

However, don't bother leaving any "Follow me!" comments that you copy & paste on dozens of blogs at a time and which show that you have absolutely no interest in my blog. I will follow your blog if I love it, not because you ordered me to do it.
