This is another quote that resonated strongly with me at the beginning of 2013. 2012 was a difficult year for me, but it also taught me some very important life lessons, and it's them that I've decided to take with me into the new year. Leaving things behind may be one of the most difficult things we live through, but it's a way to start again with a clean slate and make room for all the fabulous things that lay ahead.
Please, do share: what were you happy to leave behind you in 2012?

love it!

I'm happy to leave bunch of things in 2012 and one of them is feeling guilty and down very often. Leaving things behind is like getting rid if clutter in your life, you open a spot for new energy to flow :)

Aw I loved reading this positive motivation! Although 2012 wasn't a bad year in any sense, I am happy to greet the new year and new challenges,
ReplyDeleteLovely Ivana. I've just done a blog post on my mantra for 2013. You might find it interesting ;-)

Hi sweet Ivana. I love this quote and I think we're blessed by beginning each new year with a feeling of a new beginning. Last year was a very hectic one for me with the move into the house and all of the reconstruction beginning. I've been trying to leave as much disorganization in my life behind ... and each little thing that I touch more organized leaves me with a greater sense of calm and such a feeling of achieving something. Many things are still in boxes stored away upstairs until the kitchen is gutted and installed soon ... but I know the joy I'll feel when opening each one of those boxes one day and putting away dishes in brand new cupboards! The happiest of new year wishes to you, lovely. Thanks for dropping by this week letting me know some of your inspirations ;) xox ~S

This is so very true, but sometimes I can't help thinking of what went wrong and what should I've done to make it better, but it's so not worthwhile to keep complaining, it's better to learn and look ahead! <3

Such an inspiring quote! :-) I was somewhat glad to leave my old job behind in 2012 (I loved my colleagues but management took serious advantage of my skills and work ethic by giving me 10x more work than everyone else) so I'm hopeful 2013 brings 'far better things' in my new job!
