Friday's Fancies #45: Short & Sweet

After a little break I'm finally back with another installment of Friday's Fancies. With this week's theme being "Short & Sweet", I could only go for one color: pink, of course! My favorite color ever is all the rage this summer, and I had so much fun putting together a whole look centered around one tiny short. Now, to be honest, me and shorts can't actually be called friends: I don't own a single pair and I don't think there is a "short" perspective in my near future. I've inherited my mom's thigs (I've always known that genetics was a bitch!), and I've never been comfortable with skirts and shorts that are just a little bit wider than a regular belt. But I'm not giving up just yet: I've recently started a daily workout routine that includes 30 minutes of spinning, and I believe that this time next year (I guess I'll be just back from my honeymoon then), I'll be able to rock, if not a micro short, than at least a skirt that will hit way up the knees!. Keep your fingers crossed for me, and in the meantime, enjoy my short & sweet Friday styling!
