I´ve been obsessed with fashion for as long as I can remember, spending ridiculous amounts of money on fashion magazines and studying trends religiously. But I have the same obsession with food, collecting recipes and experimenting in my kitchen everyday. This is why I´ll never be one of those super skinny models who can wear anything they want in size zero. That´s simply not me. I´ll always be the one to take another bite of chocolate, even if it means that I won´t be able to wear micro shorts in summer. And I´m perfectly fine with that. I simply love the fact that there are trends and styles that will always look amazing on my hourglass figure (hello pencil skirts!). And peplum is definitely one of them. I´m pretty much in love with every single piece I´m featuring today: the way they show off the perfect balance between waist and hips, while looking classy and sexy at the same time...I think I´m ready for a peplum shopping spree.

Nice blog.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a size zero too and I'm fine with it. Sometimes I wish my legs would be longer and slimmer, but anyways. Having the ability to enjoy cooking and eating is wonderful as well. :-)

Oooo why do you tempt me with these images! I love that Stella McCartney jacket! But..I'd be happy with any of those sheath dresses w/peplum waistline...
ReplyDeleteI like the way this trend looks on other girls but I feel like for me it would make me very self conscious of my hips...not a good look.

Ooo, #7 on the steals is super cute! I have a peplum blazer that I've had forever and am still in love with; looks great with a pencil skirt :)
ReplyDeleteIt's super weird that you really like peplum for your hourglass figure. I'm not the same size as you, but I have an hourglass figure as well and I think it exaggerates my curves to a point that I really dislike.
ReplyDeletePlease share an outfit it you ever get something. I'd like to see how you wear it.
Lovely post. (:
ReplyDeleteLove the white dress up top. Very pretty.

Oh I love peplum too! Especially the Jason Wu! <3 I always thought that peplum actually was better for less full figures because it accentuates (and can fake the look of) the hips... making it really flattering if you have a boyish figure & maybe not so much on a larger figure? Either way I'm sure it looks really lovely on you!
