Hello lovely ladies! My name is Emily and I blog over at so anthro. I'm so excited to be here at Macarons & Pearls today, as it's one of my favorite blogs (and two of my favorite things!), sharing some of my favorite nail polish shades and trends.
[shade] Lilacism by Essie, a darling light purple that's a perfect transition color from winter to spring.
[trend] Highlighted ring finger! I love painting my ring finger nails a different color from the rest of my hand. I love glitzy shades for this, like Revlon's Gold Coin.
[shade] Jaded by Revlon. I am all about minty greens this spring, and I just adore this pale shade!
[trend] Glitter nails. Sure you can buy sparkly polish, but I love texture with my sparkles. Over my base color (Essie's Ballet Slippers here), I load on a glop of clear polish and before it dries, I use tweezers to drop pieces of loose glitter confetti. Then to seal, I carefully dollop on a little more clear top coat.
[shade] Mod Square by Essie. I tried out this bright pink for Valentine's Day, but can assure you that I'll be bringing this fun shade back all year round!
Thanks so much Ivana for having me today! I hope you all enjoyed this little installment of Nail Polish Diaries, and remember you can always find me at soanthro.com :)
