Friday´s Fancies #35: Let´s Fly Away -- Escale à Portofino

When I look out of the window, I see snow. A lot of snow. And while I tend to find something to enjoy in every single season, I must say that the cold weather is slowly growing on me (plus it makes outfit planning that much more difficult!). Right now, I just wish I could jump on a plane and fly somewhere where I could just lay on the beach, read a book cover to cover, drink some decadent colorful cocktail and just enjoy being with myself (and without my computer).
Portofino may not be the perfect destination right now (the whole Europe is having basicly the same, snowy weather), but it´s still one the most glamorous destinations I can think of. To me it´s all about that fabulous Rachel Zoe-esque glamour: colorful kaftans, floppy hats, oversized sunnies and a touch of Dior´s Escale a Portofino perfume. Perfection.

  2. I can't decide about my dream destination right now but I'm definitely looking forward to the end of May when I and my boyfriend will travel to Prague for 5 days :) we'll see what my suitcase includes then :P

    I'm not really what you'd call a beach lover, but lately it's been growing on me bit by bit, and not in a sunbathing kind of way, but more in a walking by the shore in the sunset, the smell of the sea and the touch of the sand, and I think the perfect ensemble would be that Marchesa gown, it's gorgeous!

  52. I would love to go on a fabulous European vacation! And I can't believe I am about to say this but I wouldn't mind seeing a little of that snow! I am in no way complaining about some of the spring like days we are getting in New Jersey but I wouldn't mind a snow day!
