Ever since I posted this Mix & Match Friday´s Fancies ensemble, I´ve been wanting to create a "real" mix & match outfit. Mixing and matching prints and textures is an entirely new thing to me, so I decided to play safe and stick to various shades of one color. And I wasn´t disappointed: green lace and green snakeskin print look amazing together! To add a little bit of drama, I threw on a studded belt and a few pounds worth of costume jewelry. A swipe of magenta lipstick was the perfect finishing touch and for a moment I felt like a movie star :) Now that I know that it works, I´ll be sure to experiment in the mix & match department really soon!
Also, I have a special treat for you this week. With Christmas quickly approaching, I´ve put together five different gift guides, for five different stylish girls: Style Maven, Glitter Girl, Domestic Goddes, Beauty Queen and Foodie. I recognize myself in all these styles, and I´m sure you will too. The best part? Almost all the items are under $100! I´ll be posting my gift guides every day of this week, in addition to my usual posts. Be sure to check back regularly! Loads of ideas and inspirations are on their way!
