I´ve always loved all sorts of notebooks, binders and organizers...let´s put it this way: I´m an office supplies freak (and proud of it, by the way). That´s the only reason why I loved "back to school" time, when I could buy (almost) whatever I wanted (because it was for school, really). I´m not a student anymore, yet I still love this particular kind of shopping.
Then again, I´ve really been into upcycling recently, and I simply love the idea of giving a new life to something old (and maybe uninteresting at first sight, as seen here and here). This simple black binder was literally screaming for a makeover. And it was more than simple. Want to try it on your own?
You´ll need: a binder, decorative paper (I used this one, because I´m still pretty in love with the colors and the pattern), adhesive and scissors.
Cut the paper according to the size of your binder, while adding 1/2 inch at the top and the bottom, and at least 6 inches on left and right.
Fold the paper and attach it to the binder with the little pieces of adhesive.
Don´t pull too hard on the paper, it could crack while you close your binder (been there, done that...)
And here you go! This project didn´t even take me 10 minutes and now I have a pretty and unique binder that holds all my to-do lists.
Happy crafting!
